About Men’s Council Alliance
For the past 40 years, the Men’s Council Alliance (MCA) and prior Men’s Leadership Alliance have provided education, training, and resources for men of all ages, their families, and organizations. We live and teach a sustainable, process-oriented, community-based, inclusive style of men’s soul work. We have dedicated our work to creating a world where everyone can be whole and live the fullness of their life purpose.
Men’s Council Alliance's mission is to serve men, their families, and their communities in the service of creating a more just, compassionate, and sustainable world.
Our guides, training staff, and the potent and diverse council of associates provide a variety of programs and services based on the guiding principles above. We would love to have you join us.
Alliance Founders
Tom Daly, Ph.D.
Tom Daly, Ph.D., is a personal and professional development coach with over 40 years of experience guiding individuals through life transitions. A true elder in the field of men’s work, Tom brings a rare blend of lived wisdom, spiritual depth, and practical tools to help men navigate change with courage and clarity.
He walks his talk — having lived many roles: salesman, high school science teacher and counselor, massage therapist, holistic health educator, seminar leader, author, coach, business owner, and leadership trainer. His journey has shaped a core belief: real leadership begins with personal sovereignty — the deep knowing that part of us is always aligned with our soul’s purpose, even in times of uncertainty.
Tom specializes in coaching men at pivotal life stages — especially those facing the deep questions of identity, meaning, and contribution. His work supports men in owning both light and shadow, releasing old stories, and awakening their creative genius to build lives of purpose and sustainability.
He is the creator of the 4 Gateways Coaching model, which integrates somatic awareness, inner archetypes, emotional intelligence, and conscious action. He continues to train coaches and leaders in this approach today.
Since the late 1980s, Tom has been a nationally recognized elder in the men’s movement. He co-founded the Inner King Training in 1992, and today leads programs through the Men’s Council Alliance — a community of practice for men ready to lead with heart, integrity, and soul.
Tom lives in Boulder, Colorado with his wife and business partner Jude Blitz. Together, they co-direct the Living Arts Foundation, which fosters the expression of art and soul in all aspects of personal and professional life.
He’s also a proud father of two grown children, grandfather of five, and a lifelong maker — expressing himself through ceramics, woodworking, painting, and photography. His love of organic gardening remains a primary wellspring of inspiration, grounding his life and his coaching in nature’s rhythms of growth, rest, and renewal.
Keith Fairmont
Keith Fairmont is a leadership coach, facilitator, and community organizer based in Boulder, Colorado, with more than three decades of experience guiding individuals and groups through periods of growth, transition, and renewal.
For over 25 years, Keith has co-led retreats and leadership programs through the Men’s Council Alliance (formerly MLA) and related initiatives, creating spaces where men can engage in honest self-reflection, embodied practice, and deep relational work. His approach integrates emotional intelligence, somatic awareness, and values-based leadership, helping participants move from performance and isolation toward presence, integrity, and meaningful service.
Keith is also a founding force behind the Warrior Storyfield initiative, a nonprofit community project that brings together veterans, first responders, and civilians through collaborative sculpture, storytelling, and shared labor. This work reflects his long-standing commitment to healing, creative expression, and building bridges across difference.
In his private coaching and consulting practice, Keith works with executives, entrepreneurs, community leaders, and young men navigating major life and career transitions. He is known for his ability to listen deeply, ask catalytic questions, and help people reconnect with their inner authority and sense of purpose.
Blending practical strategy with soulful inquiry, Keith brings warmth, clarity, and steady leadership to every space he enters. Whether facilitating retreats, advising organizations, or mentoring individuals, his work is grounded in a simple commitment: helping people live with greater honesty, courage, and contribution.
